I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Univ. of California, San Diego and at the Salk Inst. for Biological Studies, La Jolla, California, where I investigate potential mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric illnesses, such as autism and schizophrenia. I was born in Lisbon and I got my PhD in Biomedical Sciences/ Neuroscience from the Fac. of Medicine of Lisbon.
