About PAPS
Founded in 1998, the Portuguese American Post-graduate Society (PAPS) is an independent, non-profit organization, with no political affiliations whose mission is to support Portuguese and Portuguese-American graduates (with a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree, in any academic/professional field) studying or working in North America, as well as those who have returned to Portugal.
Standing Mission

To represent and support the Portuguese and Portuguese-American graduate community in North America.

To develop and support strategies that aim at maximizing the contribution of the Portuguese and Portuguese-American graduate community in North America, as well as to the development of Portugal.

To stimulate and strengthen the relationship between the Portuguese and Portuguese- American graduate community studying/working in North America and the Portuguese government, Portuguese universities and companies.
