PAPS organizes yearly a two-day forum, which brings together PAPS members and speakers from backgrounds as diverse as science, engineering, business, economics, arts and humanities. Since its first edition in 1998, the forum has hosted several personalities, such as Mariano Gago, António Damásio, Joana Vasconcelos and Zeinal Bava.
In 2016, the PAPS forum will focus on the Value of Networks. This forum intends to be a dynamic platform for reflection on different types Network, Network Strengthening Mechanisms, Network Value and its potential in the development of Portuguese outside and inside of Portugal as well as the link between North America and Portugal.
This Forum will take advantage of the unique concentration of Portuguese Graduates to generate discussion and brainstorming on themes related to the potential of th PAPS Network (or other Networks) in the development of “Portugal” inside and out. The themes of the focus groups will be selected among ideas submitted by the Forum attendees during the meeting, and the attendees will be invited to continue the discussion post-forum and even apply any conclusions drawn.
We look forward to meeting you in New York City!
