Sou natural de Lisboa e estudei Biologia Molecular e Genética na FCUL. Obtive o meu doutoramento em imunologia da gravidez num programa conjunto entre a Harvard Medical School e a Universidade de Coimbra. Atualmente, trabalho no Boston Children’s Hospital, durante o dia, onde estudo a resposta imunitária a doenças infeciosas durante a gravidez, e danço salsa à noite.
